NATIONAL CHICKEN MONTH

Multistate research makes chicken production more efficient, profitable, and sustainable. Findings also improve chicken meat and egg quality and food safety. New genetics insights and tools have led to chicken breeds with desirable growth and disease resistance traits. Other research is ensuring chicken welfare and reducing the environmental impacts of chicken production.

Multistate Research Projects Address Avian Influenza
