allows public lands to be used to establish "land-grant colleges" to provide agricultural and mechanical education for "the common man"

1887 Hatch Act

establishes Agricultural Experiment Stations associated with the land-grant college(s) in each state.

Hatch Multistate projects are managed through the National Information Management & Support System (NIMSS). All users can view project outlines and reports. Authorized users can login to edit projects, create meetings, etc.
